Back in 2020, we had no idea that moving in as college neighbors would change our lives forever. Our story kicked off with a classic favor: he came over to help my roommates and me hang up a TV. To show our appreciation, we cooked dinner for him and his roommate, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
We went on our first official date on September 21, and by November 2, we knew we were each other’s person. We shared the rest of our college days at Colorado State University, eventually making our little family official when we “foster failed” and adopted our German Shepherd-Husky mix, Churchill.
After graduation, we made the jump to Denver to start our careers. Life since then has been a blur of our favorite things: taking countless vacations, exploring the outdoors, and spending our winters chasing powder in Winter Park.
On April 11, 2026, our story took its most exciting turn yet. While we were out on my very first backcountry ski day on the west side of Berthoud Pass, he popped the question. We can’t wait to tie the knot and celebrate this next chapter with everyone who has supported us along the way!
